The bottom isn’t bolted in place so it’s at a weird angle, but primed

In the past couple days I’ve finished repairing a couple tabs on the fender to which the inner fender attaches and finalized the repaired section on the cowl where the fender bottom bolts (no pictures, sorry). I then threw some primer over the bare metal to prevent rust until I get to doing Actual Bodywork .

This concludes this fender, next will be doing the same thing on the other side, though I think it’s not quite as bad as this side was from what I remember when taking it off .

That is an interesting little scissor lift thing.  I’ve seen a homemade version of something like that made out of wood, but not one like that out of metal (other than Project Binkey guys on YouTube).

It’s meant to be a transmission jack (and I’ve used it as such) but it’s handy for all sorts of things, like gas tanks (and in this case, holding bar stock against the rocker to make sure things are properly aligned).
